Mary was the mother of Jesus.
Her Scent is a gentle, warm aroma including essences of Balsam, Lilies of the Field blend, and Vanilla.
When Mary was a teenager betrothed to an older man named Joseph, the angel Gabriel announced to her that she had been chosen by God to give birth to the promised Messiah. Mary responded to the stunning announcement with beautiful, simple faith, accepting the privileged role, submitting to God’s will, despite the fact that her pregnancy would seem to Joseph to mark unfaithfulness and might mark her as a harlot in her community. God guarded Mary’s reputation and sent the angel to speak to Joseph. So Mary and Joseph were wed. Mary expressed her faith in a prophetic song of praise. Luke 1:45-55. Simple faith, divine grace rejoices in serving God.
Gabriel said, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” Luke 1:28 (NKJV)
Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” Luke 1:38 (NKJV)
Mary was a truly remarkable woman; her faith and faithfulness set an example for us all.
